b. side projects is owned and operated by me, Laura Jean Marie, a West Coast born potter creating work in a tiny studio in Toronto, shared by other makers. I began my ceramic practice in 2020, but knew long before that it was something I needed to do. I have spent my whole life trying different mediums and have never felt completely fulfilled. For me, working with clay is a completely meditative and iterative process, often resulting in forms that often find themselves.
